Wedgwood Garden Center, Inc. was founded in 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia, by two Navy Chiefs who had a mutual love of plants and landscaping. The original garden center was located on E. Little Creek Road, and through the years one location evolved into two, by opening the Holland Road store in Virginia Beach in 1982. During their retail operation history Wedgwood Garden Center was voted by the Virginian-Pilot's "Best of Norfolk" for the "Best Garden Center", many times.In 2007, Wedgwood closed both retail locations, deciding to shift their focus to the landscaping side of the business. Having provided high quality, award winning landscape designs and installations throughout the Tidewater area for over 50 years, Wedgwood Garden Center has been an active participant in many annual Tidewater Builders Association Home-A-Rama charity benefits, is an active member of the Tidewater Builders Association, Certified Virginia Nurserymen, staffed with degreed Horticulturists and on staff HRNLA Board Member At-Large. Wedgwood Garden Center has maintained a 20 year relationship with some of the best Tidewater Custom Home Builders and are highly recommended by a long list of satisfied customers.
